So many things to think about when your senior is about to graduate – big things (college?!) and little things (graduation announcements?) Now is the time to make sure you have your announcements and party invitations are all taken care of  – yes, do it now before you get REALLY busy in the spring! I have a great selection of announcements and invitations this year. All can be customized with your choice of photo and text. They are press printed, double sided cards and are available in several different papers including linen and my standard wonderful Eco Matte, which is 100% wind power manufactured and 100% post consumer waste – green at its finest!

(The names on the cards are the template names, not their real names of course!)

R U a Tweeter on Twitter?
corvallis portrait photography

Randal again,

Yep, still employed and loving it!  Do any of you recognize this cute little bird?

My crash education on social marketing continues and the path has led me to Twitter.  Everything that I read says that Thistledown Photography (www.thistledownphoto.com ) *NEEDS* to be tweeting like crazy.  However, being from the generation that saw the introduction of cellphones,  my initial reaction is really?  Another communication deal?  Do I have to?  So, I thought I should try to get some response from some of our loyal readers.

Can you take a minute to answer the following simple question in a comment?

Question:  Do you use twitter?

Possible Answers:

A)  Oh yeah, all the time.

B)  No Never!

C)  I hate birds.

D)  Some other really clever answer of your own.

Have fun with it  and thanks in advance for your help.  Have a great President’s Day weekend!

Karen - I think you should tweet away the more exposure the better. I have no time to tweet but I know of others who tweet.

Brielle - I personally have a Twitter and love it because I get to follow others but I DO NOT love it for having to Tweet myself. In fact, I am an inconsistent Tweeter. But I think that’s because most people in Corvallis/surrounding area don’t have Twitters. Not too useful for reaching out to clients but I’ve found it as a great way for connecting with the photography community

I’m updating my websites this weekend, and just came across this. Rebecca is an award-winning Scottish fiddle player, and I love the pure joy on her face, and the beautiful summer evening. Happy rainy Saturday to you!
