The secret to great family portraits is being ready to have some fun with your family. Be ready to relax a little bit yourself, and add a little of your own personality to the things I’ll give you to do. Best of all, you know best what engages your little ones and makes them laugh with you – snuggles, tickles, funny voices, special games. My children had endless fun with a game they made up that involved my husband stomping around as the scary Guard Llama, protecting them – the sheep – from the wolf. There was always a lot of squealing, laughing, hugging and running around, all of which make for excellent photos.
